DATA PROCESSING

RPS can provide data processing for offshore Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) / Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) Surveys using personnel based both onshore and / or offshore. This includes Magnetometer, EMI, SSS and multibeam data processing.  

During this process, RPS would provide the following services:

• Provide Geophysicists, as required by the client competent in the use of processing software to carry out interpretation of magnetometer, EMI and SSS data to identify anomalies that are potentially UXO / ERW.

• Consultants can conduct data interpretation on site and would be based on board the client’s vessel. Alternatively the data can be sent to one of our offices for processing if there is no room available on board the survey vessel.

• The Geophysicists on board the vessel would review the data collected to determine that it is adequate for interpretation.

• RPS would provide a report detailing the methodology of the interpretation and a final target list. The report would also contain a geo-referenced false colour map showing the locations of the targets within each section of survey data collected and recommendations on the likelihood of the targets to be UXO and any further mitigation required.
